The Grove City YMCA is looking for a fun energetic individual to ensure effective and efficient child care business operations.

The Site Director is responsible for the day to day management and operations of the site and staff at that site he/she has been hired to oversee. The Site Director ensures adherence to DHS regulations and Keystone STARS standards, including adequate staffing, full enrollment in program, and maintenance of appropriate physical environments, along with active community involvement which meets YMCA goals. The Site Director is also responsible for any and all other tasks assigned by the Child Care Director.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Continually review and evaluate key performances measures regarding service sites, staffing, licensing compliance issues, customer service and fiscal operations to ensure for continuous improvements in each area.
  • Supervises all Site staff while being responsible for staff recruitment, hiring, training, and scheduling. Reviews and evaluates staff performance. Develops strategies to motivate staff and achieve goals.Verify that all staff maintains all internal and external required certifications and comply with regulations
  • Ensures that all third party program standards are being met to the highest quality, including but not limited to DHS, Keystone STARS and all YMCA program standards.
  • Ensures YMCA expectations for high quality programming are being met through routine program evaluation and assessment.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field is required.
Skills/Experience: 
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience of demonstrated leadership

Professional Certification(s):

  • Must meet Director Credential qualifications for Keystone STARS.
  • Must submit all required paperwork for DHS licensing.
    • Act 34 Clearance (State Police)
    • Act 33 Clearance (Child Abuse)
    • FBI Fingerprint Clearance
Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary: $24,000.00 - $35,000.00
