This position supports the work of the Marketing/Communications department on behalf of the Y to advance the mission and impact of the Y movement. Under the direction of the V.P. and Chief of Marketing & Comm Officer, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for marketing department project management and advertising efforts that drive awareness and acquisition for the Greater Green Bay YMCA Association including programming, membership and events. The Marketing Manager must have a proven ability to be an innovative, creative, proactive and self-directed team member in a fast-paced environment with the ability to meet deadlines.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Continually position the Greater Green Bay YMCA as a cause-driven organization throughout all advertising and PR.
  • Write and edit marketing and advertising copies.
  • Create organizational timelines and calendars for editorial content, marketing, advertisement, membership promotions, program promotions, program guides and registration sessions.
  • Manage advertising plans, traffic and tracing.
  • Create quarterly dashboards.
  • Manage email communications.
  • Act as the mobile app expert and leader.
  • Direct mail campaign management and mailing list management.
  • Track advertisements and budgets.
  • Build and maintain vendor relationships and bid management for services and merchandise.
Educational Background: 
A bachelor’s degree in graphic design, fine art, digital design or related field of study is required.
Skills/Experience: 
  • Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Must have at least 5 years of relevant work experience, to include:
    • High competency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
    • Prioritization/time management; ability to manage concurrent projects.
    • Knowledge of print production and pre-flight preparation.
    • Design across digital platforms.
    • Maintain YMCA brand compliance through design content.
    • Train co-workers in InDesign and Lucid Press for branded templates.
    • Current social media and web development skills.
  • Other skills or experience that would be very helpful on the job include:
    • Photography and video production.
    • Variety of CMS, HTML, WordPress or Drupal 8 web experience preferred.
    • E-marketing platforms (e.g. iContact, Daxko Engage).
    • Mobile App experience.
    • On-line video creation.
    • Animation of digital ads.
    • Public relations, marketing, sales, non-profit experience.
    • Microsoft Office 365 and Sharepoint.
    • Bilingual in Spanish (written and verbal).
Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00
