The Health and Wellness Director has overall responsibility for our Health and Wellness department including group exercise, personal training, wellness center programs, specialty programs and community outreach programs. This person will report to a Senior Director and be responsible for hiring, training and development of staff, creation of new programs and budget planning and responsibility.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Create develop and maintain a Personal Training system that focuses on PR sales, revenue growth and improving member retention. Meet or exceed Personal Training goals.
  • Design and implement Group Exercise programs to meet the needs of members and provide innovative programs.
  • Supervise wellness floor staff to ensure superior service for our members
  • Provide community outreach programs to promote health and wellness in our communities we serve
  • Recruit, hire, train and develop staff demonstrating strong leadership skills and ensuring staff retention
  • Plan and monitor budget and work toward revenue goals. 
Educational Background: 
A Bachelors Degree is stongly preferred.
Skills/Experience: 
  • Prior management of a Health and Wellness operation is desirable. Accredited Personal Training and Group Exercise Certification is required. We are seeking someone who is energetic, creative and has strong relationship building skills. Prior successful supervisory experience is required and the ability to be strategic, detail oriented and well organized is critical for success in this job. This person needs to keep current with the Health and Wellness field and have a passion for this work.
Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary: $43,000.00 - $45,000.00
