Camp and Sports Director

This position has responsibility for the safe operation of a growing summer camp program averaging 350 to 400 campers daily at our Bernon Family Branch in Franklin, Mass. Responsibilities include recruiting, training and hiring over 50 part time camp staff members. The position also oversees our sports program ensuring high quality sports offerings and instruction.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Develops short and long term goals for the camp season and promotes innovation in programs and activities.
  • Recruits, hires, trains and supervises talented and engaged staff with a focus on program quality and service.
  • Prepares budgets and manages programs to drive revenue growth.
  • Oversees sports programs to meet community needs and increase program participation.
Educational Background: 
Bachelors Degree in related field preferred.
Skills/Experience: 
  • A minimum of 3 to 5years of camp management experince is required. We are looking for someone with strong staff management and development skills along with experience managing budgets, planning and driving revenue growth. Excellent communication skills and relationship building skills are also necessary.
Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary: $46,000.00 - $50,000.00
