The MetroWest YMCA is seeking a dynamic and innovative Health and Wellness Director to lead the Framingham Branch healthy living programs and initiatives.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience with member engagement processes and the health seeker market and have the ability to work collaboratively with all other departments within the organization. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated competencies in the areas of staff development, relationship building skills, communication skills, computer skills, project management and quality results.
- Primary responsibilities include developing, and administering all facets of Wellness programming and services. This includes personal training, group exercise, small group training and other healthy-living programs designed to support people with chronic diseases. It also includes oversight of a state of the art facility and the hiring, training and supervision of a team of 30 part-time and 2 full-time staff. The incumbent will develop and implement quality standards and best practices for wellness center operations, group classes and personal training program.
- Current national personal training, CPR and First Aid certifications are required and ACSM Health Fitness Specialist certifications are required within 90 days of hire. Bi-lingual preferred.
Salary: $42,000.00 - $50,000.00
