As a Salesforce administrator at the Grand Canyon Trust, you will work with an amazing team to ensure that our data is accurate and secure and that our systems run smoothly. You will also train and support staff on using Salesforce and negotiate and manage contracts with CRM and integrated app vendors.
The Salesforce manager is a new position, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about our mission and is excited to make a difference.
What does this position entail?
- Be the keeper of our data — Maintain the organization's CRM database (Salesforce) and integrated apps. Ensure data is accurate, up-to-date, and secure.
- Be a data-quality go-to person — Identify and correct errors in our data.
- Be a problem-solver extraordinaire — Use your creativity and technical skills to develop and implement solutions to system problems.
- Be a teacher and mentor — Train and support staff to use the database to its fullest potential.
- Be a savvy negotiator — Ensure we get the best possible deals on our CRM and integrated app contracts. Manage contracts with vendors.
Do you have what it takes?
- Experience working with relational databases. You are a data strategist, able to manipulate and analyze data easily.
- Salesforce experience is required; fundraising database experience is a plus. You have a passion for fundraising and know how to use data to drive results.
- Demonstrated ability to input, export, and manipulate data efficiently, effectively, and accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate and explain data to various audiences. You are a data storyteller who can communicate complex data in ways that are easy to understand.
- Ability to effectively communicate using phone, email, video conferencing, and in-person methods.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information. You are trustworthy and discreet.
- A collaborative approach to managing work duties and working with others. You are a team player who helps achieve common goals.
- Familiarity with and knowledge of the lands and peoples of the Colorado Plateau.
- A commitment to justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Compensation
$70,655 – $106,526 annual salary, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
