This job is an opportunity to impact the lives of children in the Dubois, Perry and Spencer county region. We are looking for someone to lead existing After School Programs as well as investigate the development of new opportunities.  

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Cooridnate before and after school programs and assist with summer camp
  • Visit sites andbe consitent support to staff and parents
  • Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and developing staff
  • Communicate with parents about billing and discipline issues
  • Ensure that YMCA standards are met and child safety procedures are followed
  • Plan and implement daily activities 
  • Maintain accurate attendance and billing records
Educational Background: 
Minimum of Associates degree
Skills/Experience: 
  • Expirience in working with children
  • Prior supervisory expirience a plus
  • Computer literate with Microsoft Office package capability
  • Desire to work a flexible schedule
