Under the direction of the Program Director, the Program Administrator is responsible for assisting the Senior Program Administrator in all cashiering and database management, guest service, and maintaining communication with guests regarding current and future activities being offered.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Assist with the management of guest and group registration for programs including online sign up, private group requests, waivers and paperwork required for activities, confirmations and payments.
  • Train staff as needed in use of ACTIVE Net.
  • Compile, edit, produce and distribute the weekly and seasonal activity guide, guidebook app, MVIX slide.
  • Maintain online activity database, and monitor website to ensure program pages are current.
  • Provide administrative support for training courses offered through the Program Department (CPR, First Aid, WFA, WFR).
  • Provide administrative support for themed and specialty weekends.
  • Assist with Day Camp scholarship administration during peak season.
  • Assist in organization and management of the Sweet Memorial Program Building as needed.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor's degree preferred
Skills/Experience: 
  • Possess good organizational skills.
  • Possess computer and word processing skills, including familiarity with all aspects of Microsoft Office.
  • Possess bookkeeping, data entry, and cashiering skills.
  • Order and maintain an adequate inventory of office supplies for Sweet Memorial Program Building.
  • Possess a valid, USA state issued driver's license, with an acceptable driving record, and comply with YMCA driving rules to be approved to operate YMCA vehicles.

This is a full-time, year-round, position paying $14/hour with full benefits, including:
