Located in Dublin, Ohio the Paralegal assists the organizations legal team in all compliance-related and contract activities to support the Foundations continued operational excellence.  If you have an eye for detail, a strong work ethic, excellent communication and a passion for child welfare, we encourage you to apply and learn more.

What You’ll Do:

• Collects documentation for renewal of and amendment to program grant agreements from Program Team and/or grantees and ensures all necessary information is provided to create amendment or grant agreements.
• Under the supervision of the Legal Team, creates program grant amendments and grant agreements using standard contract templates, incorporates relevant exceptions, and sends redlined versions to Legal Team for approval.
• Assists with documentation of state contract requirements and works with the Legal Team to audit the Foundation and any subcontractors to ensure state contract requirements are met. 
• Assists with state charitable licensing and other entity requirements, maintains accurate schedule of required filings and reports, and works with Legal Team to ensure that state-required timelines are met.

What You Have:

• Paralegal certification (through state bar association or equivalent paralegal certifying entity) or completion of ABA-approved paralegal studies program required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 3-5 years of paralegal experience required
• Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in diverse legal subject areas and effectively prioritize in a fast-paced environment while meeting strict timelines.
