Our growing Association in Bucks County is seeking a seasoned Lead Graphic Designer who can display leadership, innovation, and creativity!

In collaboration with the marketing team and operations staff assist in promoting membership growth, program enrollment, and annual giving, as well as support community understanding of the Y's mission. This will be done by using imagination and innovation to create original design solutions that help elevate the brand, setting the Y apart from like organizations.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • General: Develop and create original graphic representations of the Y’s brand and mission, membership, programs, and services through a wide array of print and digital items, including (but not limited to) brochures, flyers, signage, logos, apparel, displays, direct mail, advertisements, website graphics, and social media graphics, for the Marketing Department and other departments and directors, as needed.
  • Environment: Establish a welcoming environment that speaks to all members.
  • Relationship Building: Through the use of Listen First, establish positive collaborations between staff to staff, staff to member, and ultimately member to member. Work as a team player within the Marketing Department and with other departments to accomplish projects efficiently and effectively.

Major Functions:

  • Support membership, development and program departments by designing unique print and digital promotional materials that contribute to the success of organizational goals.
  • Demonstrate the ability to pivot quickly based on strategic business needs, anticipate potential roadblocks, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Help foster an environment of creativity, curiosity and continuous learning.
  • Communicate to staff the Y Brand and Graphic Standard Design guidelines and monitor the consistent use of said guidelines.
  • Participate in special projects and handle all other assigned duties as required
Educational Background: 
BA or BFA in Graphic Design.
Skills/Experience: 
  • 3-5 years of experience within the graphic design field. High level of creativity and organization.
  • Possess an advanced level of understanding of design fundamentals (typography, composition, layout, color, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to creatively and logically solve problems
  • Ability to organize and monitor numerous projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Must possess extensive computer hardware/software knowledge, including but not limited to PC/Windows, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Follow all HR and risk management policies and procedures of the institution.
  • Trainedin Listen First within 6 months of position. Possesses the ability to engage, connect with, and motivate members to share their impact stories.
