The AP/PR Specialist manages invoice processing for the YMCA of Bucks County and payroll entry and reporting for the Central Bucks Region.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Responsible for accounts payable, check processing, vendor communications, and reporting. 
  • Manages accurate allocation of expenses by analyzing invoices and supporting purchase order documentation per the organization’s policies.
  • Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
  • Process Daily registration close outs and reconciliations.
  • Assists with the year-end audit.
  • Consistently looks for ways to improve systems and controls. 
  • Manage bi-weekly employee payroll submissions.  Responsible for the collection and entry of payroll data and final verification of time clock entry.  Detect and resolve issues related to payroll processing. Maintain confidentiality of all payroll records.
  • Maintain employee communications regarding payroll questions.
  • Assists Controller with payroll reporting as required.
  • Builds effective, authentic relationships with members.  Facilitates member to member and staff to member relationships; fostering a sense of community.
  • Maintains knowledge of emergency and safety procedures, provide care in case of an emergency, documents all incidents and accidents, and communicates action immediately to the supervisor.
  • Attends trainings, organizational and staff meetings as requested by supervisor (may require travel)
  • Follows YMCA Human Resources & Risk Management policies, chain of command, and procedures of the institution.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s  Degree
Skills/Experience: 
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Attention to Detail, strong organizational skills, analytical, data entry skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
