The shift to a member-driven model requires our organization to decentralize and move to a networked model. That means instead of a top-down approach to professional development, we strive to put our members in the driver’s seat. To do so, the Director for Teacher Leadership Community will enlist our members to advocate for change at the classroom level. This role requires a leader who has superb interpersonal skills and can motivate and rally others towards change. Individuals with grassroots organizing experience would excel in this role.
