Seeking a dedicated and passionate professional to serve as their Executive Director.


What you'll do:

  • Oversee and manage the day to day operations of the branch including staffing, programming, facility operations, fundraising, and overall leadership.
  • Build community resources through the cultivatoin and development of relationships by actively engaging members, volunteers and community leaders in the Y mission.
  • Develop a productive board of volunteers and build effective leadership for the branch and mission.
  • Participate as a member of the Association Management Team and serve on ad hoc committees and task forces
Areas of Responsibility: 

This individual will manage the operations of the West Philadelphia YMCA, branch of the Philadelphia Freedom Valley YMCA.

Skills/Experience: 
  • Bachelor's degree in related field with 5 - 10 years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated success in fund raising.
  • Leadership in branch operations/facility management required.
  • Experience in developing and motivating staff and volunteers.
  • Excellent fiscal mangement skills and ability to identify funding opportunities.
  • Exhibit strong leadership skills; possess a passion for member service, building and maintaining a culture of member service excellence.
