Context: The Beyond Dirty Fuels team in Ohio is working to connect many complex issues including fossil fuel infrastructure build out, fracking, plastic pollution, and defending core environmental laws and regulations. We are looking for a motivated individual who is interested in building their political and grassroots organizing skills.

Scope: The intern will work remotely with their manager to track media publications, develop action tools, mobilize grassroots actions, and communications with partner organizations.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Participate in internal and external calls
  • Develop media and communication pieces
  • Create and distribute actions tools
  • Organize grassroots events
Skills/Experience: 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office and Google suite
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Knowledge of Fracked Gas impact on Climate Change
  • Works well independently and as part of a team
Compensation/Benefits: 

Sierra Club is a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization. Sierra Club employees are not eligible to participate in the Federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program.  Sierra Club does not sponsor H1B visas.
