About the position

Reporting to the Senior Director of Network Impact, the Senior Manager of Network Experience will be responsible for managing three key services to support network experience, including strategic engagement and relationship management, the onboarding of new network partnerships and members, and facilitating network feedback. The primary purpose of the position is to ensure network members have access to and engage strategically in network supports to advance along the StriveTogether Theory of Action™ so that youth and families of color and those experiencing poverty are on a path to more equitable outcomes and economic mobility. 

Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsibilities and duties

Network member orientation – ongoing top priority

  • Ensure new network members understand the benefits of membership, the purpose and role of the Network, and are connected to network resources and supports to onboard onto and engage in the work
  • Manage and continuously improve the orientation strategy for new network members, including convening internal cross-functional staff to develop, manage and continuously improve supports for the experience of new network members, from exploring to entering the Network
  • Serve as primary contact for new network members to support their experience, help them navigate available offerings and strategically connect them to supports to launch and build on work
  • Track and communicate updates about new network members internally
  • Ensure integrity of member and partnership information, contacts and accounts in Salesforce for both new and existing members
  • Regularly evaluate the impact of network member onboarding
  • Share learning from network member onboarding across teams to inform work

 

Strategic engagement and network relationship management – 2023 priority

  • Ensure all network members are connected to offerings, resources and support to advance their work and priorities
  • Serve as initial primary contact to network members, ensuring partnerships have a positive experience and have access to the people, supports and resources available throughout the organization
  • Connect with network members and leverage data across teams to understand network members’ emerging needs and regularly connect them to resources, learning and support aligned to their work
  • Connect network members to one another in ways that respond to Network needs and requests to support their learning and movement along the Theory of Action.

 

Network Feedback and Internal Learning - ongoing priority

  • Manage and support cross-functional team’s approach to regularly evaluate network experience and the impact of supports to network members
  • Manage processes to track and measure impact of supports on partnership progress across the Theory of Action and continuously improve efforts across teams
  • Share learning from network member engagement across teams to inform the work. Partner with internal data and evaluation team to collect and codify feedback data
  • Share data from network member feedback to inform work across teams

 

Other duties

  • Engage in organizational team meetings and retreats, cross-functional work, internal planning and strategy, learning and development, and responsive needs that arise throughout the year
Skills/Experience: 

Qualifications and skills

  • Experience in the social service sector, results orientation and strong orientation to racial equity required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred / 3-5 years of experience managing membership/relationship management for a network or similar structure
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including experience communicating complex topics to audiences with a range of familiarity
  • Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; self-directed and independent, with a track record of taking initiative and following through on projects
  • Experience using data to inform improvements to work
  • Ability to work on several tasks simultaneously, with experience organizing and prioritizing work quickly in response to changing needs
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Some travel is required
Compensation/Benefits: 

Position details

This is an exempt position with a salary of $66,000 - $98,000. StriveTogether offers competitive salary and benefits, commensurate with experience, skills and location. This position can work remotely or out of our headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio.
