This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Central Parkway YMCA is located in Over-the-Rhine, one of USA Today's Top Ten Places to Visit this summer; our branch recently underwent a $30 million renovation and serves 2500+ membership units.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Ensures programs and services meet community needs.
- Promotes program and membership enrollment in interactions with existing and potential members.
- Ensures a level of service and engagement that fosters loyalty among those we serve.
- Lead branch membership engagement efforts.
- Responsible for branch web-based technologies supporting marketing & communications.
- Design & implement web and social media content.
- Oversee & manage branch email program, including creating content & mobile communications.
- Oversee & manage digital lobby/facility communications.
- Measure marketing & communication effectiveness across multiple channels.
- Assume all other duties as assigned.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Skills/Experience:
- Sales experience required.
- Must have the knowledge required for successful operations; ability to establish and maintain harmonious relationships with staff, volunteer leaders, YMCA members, and the general public is essential; ability to network and engage internal and external customers.
- Must be able to delegate appropriate responsibilities to staff in order to accomplish the necessary duties.
- Incumbent must be able to supervise, direct and guide all operations in accordance with the Association’s long- and short-range goals.
- Must be personable and demonstrate integrity and honesty. Must be a team player, able to effectively relate to all levels of staff and management.
- Must possess excellent organizational skills and written/oral communication skills.
- Experience working with Daxko and Excel is preferred.
- Experience working with web & social media content management, digital communications & marketing preferred.
Compensation/Benefits:
Salary: $32,800.00 - $36,900.00
