General Summary

Enter, batch and review accounts payable invoices into  MAS 500 Accounting System and maintain corresponding files. Process parking vouchers requests and provide back up support for daily sort and distribution of general mail as needed as well as providing back up support for new vendor creation and updates

Essential Job Functions

  • Enter account payable invoices into MAS 500 Accounting system, batch audit and review. Assist with mailing of checks weekly.
  • Maintain department files and records for all disbursements paid by the Association 
  • Collect funds for parking vouchers as needed 
  • Provide back up support for daily sort and distribution of general mail as needed. 
  • Other AP duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate's and/or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Two to three years of experience in accounts payable.
  • Experience in Microsoft Windows environment with working knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Computer skills required with emphasis in Excel and Word of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Prioritize own work. 
  • Check the quality and timeliness of own work. 
  • Excellent organization skills.    
  • Detail oriented.
  • Good Math skills 
  • Ability to communicate with internal and external customers via phone.
  • Ability to handle cash and safeguard company assets (checks and cash) 
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously accurately and meet daily deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast past environment.
  • Ability to respond to inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
