The Senior Specialist, Strategic Projects, supports all Office of the CEO strategic projects and initiatives and serves as the point of contact for strategic plan support for the field and functional leaders.  This position works closely with the Senior Project Director, Strategic Projects, and provides support for all work groups including meeting preparation notes, project research and analysis.

This position reports to the Sr. Director Strategic Projects and is located in Chicago, IL

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Provide analytical support on a variety of strategic projects
  • Create surveys that capture data to inform strategic projects
  • Analyze data to drive decision-making
  • Support workgroups that seek to effect change in the Association
  • Serve as a liaison between the Home Office and the Field
  • Project manage chapter mergers and territory changes
  • Assist in the creating and managing of division’s budget
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating events
Educational Background: 
Bachelor's degree required
Skills/Experience: 
  • Three to five years of professional experience required
  • Excellent computer skills and analytical savvy to build, review, and analyze data. Proficiency in Google Docs, MS Office Suite, especially MS Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; a persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent interpersonal and multidisciplinary project skills
  • Great customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people.
  • Detail oriented, adaptable, organized and able to successfully manage multiple projects and tasks
  • High level of integrity, diplomacy and initiative
  • Must be available to travel on occasion by car and/or plane
  • Must possess  valid driver's license, good driving record, access to reliable  vehicle and proof of automobile insurance.
