This position is responsible for ensuring timely, accurate and professional reports and deliverables critical to maintaining relationships. 


The Fulfillment Manager is responsible for organizing, implementing and stewarding all assigned corporate cause marketing and national event sponsorship accounts, including but not limited to all contractual obligations.  In addition, he/she will interact daily with YMCAs, corporate cause marketing and event sponsors, as well as cross-departmental Y-USA staff.  The selected candidate will also coordinate details of on-going corporate cause marketing and national event activities and support the overall function of the cause marketing department of Y-USA.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Develops and manages project management calendar for each assigned account to ensure all contractual obligations are met or appropriately addressed; acknowledges sponsors as appropriate
  • Interacts with staff throughout Y-USA, remote locations and local YMCAs in order to implement cause marketing and sponsorship initiatives; interacts with senior executives from partnering corporations, local YMCAs and Y-USA
  • Monitors all projects, including timelines, goals/objectives, outcomes and budget spending for each assigned account
  • Gathers feedback and success stories related to each cause marketing initiative; writes narrative and budget reports after campaign closes. Ensures overall reporting (including photos, media samples, etc.) is compliant with sponsor standards
  • Oversees distribution of information regarding and related to assigned accounts to YMCAs; assists in writing and/or editing articles, announcements and other related products for YMCA publications and Web sites; coordinating sponsor approvals of all related collateral materials, as necessary
  • Provides consultation and guidance to local YMCAs for building their relationships with national corporate donors and maximizing related local partnerships
  • Serves as primary contact for assigned accounts, responding to incoming questions, concerns and solicitations; assists MarCom and Development staff in managing local YMCA communications and incoming questions related to national re-grant programs and related reporting requirements for assigned national accounts
  • Works with Y-USA research team to track data related to donor funded programs by designing feedback forms/surveys and other techniques for gathering research; manages data entry and analysis as assigned and necessary
  • Undertakes support responsibilities on existing and future YMCA corporate partnerships, as needed
  • Manages special department projects, as requested
  • Manage posting and monitoring of content on Exchange per subject matter experts requests and knowledge management governance policies
Skills/Experience: 
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.  Master’s degree is a plus
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in account management, business development, fundraising, cause marketing, project management or related field is required
  • Knowledge of donor database applications is required; Raiser’s Edge software experience and Smartsheet project management or similar software is preferred
  • Must possess a demonstrated record of success in project management; superb organizational skills and diligent attention to detail, with the ability to plan, track and complete long-range project deadlines and goals.
  • Ability to prioritize, track and implement multiple tasks simultaneously; ability to deal well with a large volume of work while maintaining high quality and efficiency/timeliness
  • Demonstrated record of success in writing; outstanding communication skills, both written and oral - including the ability to create high level power point presentations, sponsor proposal, and write/create sponsorship after action reports and presentations on sponsor funded initiatives. Must be able to write and letters on behalf of Y-USA leadership
  • Strong interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to work well with staff at all levels; ability to work both independently and within a team environment (departmental and cross-departmental)
  • Ability to deal with rapidly shifting priorities; quickly adapts to change, reacting professionally and effectively to incoming initiatives from sponsors and Y-USA leadership; exhibits comfort in working under deadlines
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Must be self-motivated and a self-starter, ability to work independently and anticipate needs of Director, sponsors and cause partners
  • Must possess the ability to read and understand budget reports
