The Gateway Region YMCA has an immediate opening for a Cause-Driven leader to provide leadership to the Chesterfield Family YMCA in Chesterfield, Missouri. This full facility branch has a combined revenue base of $4M. This highly successful Y has over 2,600 membership units, 400 day campers, over 300 kids/session in aquatic program, 60 children enrolled licensed Early Childhood Education Center, before and after school care, houses, operates and programs the Chesterfield Community Theater. The branch enjoys a blend of membership types with strong growth in household memberships. The Chesterfield Family YMCA is embarking on a significant portion of the overall Gateway Region YMCA Comprehensive Capital Campaign in the near future. - This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
- Under the direction of the Central District Vice President, the selected candidate oversees the total operation of the Emerson YMCA branch, including membership, marketing, programs, before and after child care, facilities, volunteer and staff development, financial development, community relations and collaborations with community agencies.
- Candidates must demonstrate successful experience in project management, staff supervision/training, program development, fiscal management, volunteer development, board development, and fundraising.
- The candidate must possess excellent written and oral communication skills along with a proven track record of staff development, community partnerships, program supervision and fundraising.
- Strong Experience with innovative child care programming and membership management required.
- 3 or more years of management experience in a YMCA or other nonprofit agency
- YUSA Organizational Leader Status preferred
- 3 years of Executive Leadership experience
- $1 million minimum budget experience
