Lead Age Group coach for CYAC swim team. CYAC is both a YMCA and USA Swimming based competitive and year-round program that is located in Charlottesville, Virginia. CYAC has approximately 230 athletes and trains out of both Brooks Family YMCA and Claudius Crozet Park.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Lead Coach for two practice groups: Gold (11-14 years of age) and Bronze (7-10 years of age).
  • Bi-Weekly email communication with practice group membership.
  • Team Unify Swim meet coordinator.
  • Coordinate practice schedules and coaching staff.
  • Website maintenance and updates.
  • Bi-Weekly Coaching staff meetings.
  • Attendance at appropriate swim meets.
  • Social Media coordinator.
  • Team Newsletter coordinator (monthly).
Skills/Experience: 
  • Current USA Swimming and YMCA Coaching credentials.
  • 1-3 years of coaching experience.
  • Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
  • Effective leader with the ability to communicate, motivate, and guide swimmers of all ages.

Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00
