Teach For America – Massachusetts seeks a driven, focused individual to take the success of our Greater Boston sub-region to the next level. As the Managing Director, Greater Boston Partnerships (MDGBP), you and your team will play a critical role in bringing top talent – TFA corps members and alumni – to our partner schools in Boston, Chelsea, Lawrence, Salem, and Lynn.
With the support of your team, you are responsible for the recruitment, matriculation, and hiring of hundreds of Teach For America corps members and alumni each year, a critical pipeline of talent for our school partners. The ideal candidate is a natural networker who builds trust and relationships quickly and draws energy from engaging externally. You are also a systems thinker, developing strong tools and practices for use by your colleagues who work in our Western Massachusetts and South Coast sub-regions. As a result of your efforts, our partners in Greater Boston and beyond will attract and retain the talent they need to fulfill their vision of a quality education for all students.
The School & Community Partnerships team is a newly formed function of the Massachusetts regional team. Deeply rooted in our strategy of meeting the talent needs of our partner schools and communities, this team works statewide to attract and retain talented educators for K-12 and district/CMO roles. With the support of your manager, you will set vision and direction for executing our Greater Boston talent strategy, and collaborate with a team of colleagues doing similar work across the state.
The Managing Director, Greater Boston Partnerships reports to the Senior Managing Director, School and Community Partnerships, and will manage a team of two director-level staff members.
