The YMCA Site Director is responsible for oversight of the day-to-day operations for a designated afterschool program, including planning, coordination, and supervision of the program to ensure that families receive quality services which provide for growth in academics, social emotional development, and health and wellness. In addition, he/she ensures focus on programming that promotes healthy living, social responsibility, and youth development. The Site Coordinator reports to a Program Administrator connected to a branch location of the YMCA of Greater Boston.
Leadership & Communication:
- Develop & instill strong, positive program culture among staff, students, families, and larger school community
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with connected schools
- Participate in networking meetings with other YMCA Site Directors
Family & Teacher Engagement
- Institute with Program Administrator a system for communicating with parents, teachers, and other school personnel on individual student needs and assessments
- Design and distribute newsletters to the parents & school community, highlighting the successes of the afterschool program

Salary: $41,000.00 - $45,000.00
