Responsible for supporting CFF’s Financial applications, related systems and processes, and reporting needs. Scope of work includes, but is not limited to: support of MS Dynamics GP, SQL/Server 2008-2016, custom report development, end-user support and training, application and database troubleshooting and testing, and integration services.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Work with Sr. System Administrator to support GPs financial modules such as General Ledger, Fixed Assets and Payables.
- Assist in the implementation, development, upgrades, customization, integration and day-to-day support of Dynamics GP and other financial applications.
- Administer security roles and tasks.
- Support, troubleshoot and correct issues in SQL/Server-based solutions (including, but not limited to: stored procedures, queries, SSIS packages, etc.).
- Provide ongoing support for new and existing custom and canned reports. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: requirements gathering, report and dashboard development, testing and troubleshooting.
- Work with existing report developers to manage a variety of data from ERP systems and other data sources in SQL based data warehouse.
- Regularly review and monitor ETL processes across multiple applications/databases and validating results with business representatives.
- Create plans and documentation to support applications and related processes.
- Respond to issues as assigned in the Foundation's issue tracking system.
- Perform support roles for project components in support of larger technology efforts.
- Collaborate with all users and members of IT to ensure successful application and database implementations.
- Assists in solving production problems in a timely manner, including off hours and weekend support when necessary.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree Required. Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or Accounting (preferred).
Skills/Experience:
- 5+ years of combined experience with Dynamics GP modules and/or administration required.
- 3+ years proven experience with SSRS and SQL Server.
- Solid understanding of database fundamentals and SQL statement development.
- Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Experience in writing system documentation including system specifications and/or requirements.
- Excellent communication skills - spoken and written English including technical writing and the ability to deliver messaging to all levels of customer and partner organizations.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
