The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation - the world's leader in the search for a cure for cystic fibrosis, and one of the most innovative and successful organizations of its kind - is seeking a (Sr) Compliance Coordinator in Bethesda, MD (HQ).  We are a nonprofit, donor-supported organization that has raised and invested hundreds of millions of dollars to help develop cystic fibrosis therapies that have changed the lives of people with this disease. Nearly every CF medicine available today was made possible because of Foundation support.

This position is primarily responsible for data integrity and monitoring to ensure accurate, efficient entry and use of data throughout Compass platforms and to assist with the compliance of applicable policies and standard operating procedures.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Assists in determining quality standards by studying inbound and outbound calls; monitor case manager calls, and conduct test calls as needed.
  • Assists in requiring adherence to policies and procedures by assisting in the development of audit programs.
  • Perform quality assurance by cleaning and purging data as needed maintaining Compass databases.
  • Create dashboard reports when needed.
  • Assists in the development of reports to Compass Management on adherence to department policies and procedures; make recommendations to Compass management and the Compliance Manager on process change; considers multiple approaches and the stakeholders affected.
  • Monitor industry standards to ensure Compass is continually improving in data security.
  • Monitor and analyzes data in Compass platforms for adherence to Foundation policies.
  • Work with the IT department to ensure the appropriate security measures for Compass systems are in place.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or information systems or similar.
Skills/Experience: 
  • 1 to 2 years’ experience performing data entry preferably in a call center environment.
  • Ability to consider multiple approaches/proposed solutions and the stakeholders affected.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills with all staff levels.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Working knowledge of information technology security controls.
