The Research Program Manager will report to the Senior Director of Partnerships for Sustaining Daily Care. This position is responsible for implementing and managing daily central operations of the Success with Therapies Research Consortium (STRC). He/she will be part of an integrated team and be a primary interface with Investigators as well as with the SMC, DMC, and internal CFF departments. Key areas of responsibility include ensuring central systems are developed and maintained which facilitate tracking of knowledge and communication between CFF, SMC, DMC and site investigators.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Manage the development of central STRC systems, policies and procedures.
- Manage the development and dissemination of consortium-wide communications.
- Serve as a primary interface between consortium sites and the CFF, and the Data Management and Study Management Core’s.
- Elevate and monitor progress on resolution of central issues.
- Business owner of STRC Sharepoint system.
- Write reports and deliver presentations for internal and external STRC audiences.
- In collaboration with Sr. Director, STRC co-chairs, and committee co-chairs, manage the daily operations of the STRC committees.
- Supervise a coordinator level position in the administrative support for STRC committees and working groups.
- Initiate and manage Consultating Services Agreements and amendments.
- Consolidate and manage reviews of site progress reports.
- Seek input and information from key sources to inform work.
- Collaborate with CFF’s grants management and legal including award related issues around competitive renewal application and budget, annual progress reports.
- In collaboration with supervisor and Grants team project STRC budgets and maintain tracking system.
- Contribute to greater PSDC team leadership and strategy.
Educational Background:
College degree required
Skills/Experience:
- Minimum of six (6) years experience in healthcare research, preferably behavioral health research administration.
- Experience managing a program.
- Experience supervising staff.
- Excellent critical / anticipatory thinking, organizational and decision-making skills, and attention to detail.
- Facile with software applications (including database applications), and proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & SharePoint); ability to quickly learn and utilize computer applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills: must be able to communicate confidently and effectively with team members and executive management.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to work as a productive member of a management team.
- Experience monitoring, maintaining schedules, and reporting progress for multiple concurrent projects. Experience in project execution, including implementing projects, budget management, process integration and system support.
- Knowledge of Clinical Trials, FDA regulations, preferable.
