Manager/Director, Financial Systems & Processes

The Manager/Director Financial Systems & Processes will report to the VP of Finance as part of the Finance team.  The M/D's responsibilities include participating in functional analysis and design discussions, advising on the use of the solutions based on best practices and business processes.  This individual will also be responsible for system testing, identify issues, recognize risks to implementation and communicating to the team while identifying and documenting gaps between the financial applications and CFF business processes.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Perform requirements analysis and design with internal customers and liaise with IT.
  • Documenting requirements, use cases and disaster recovery plans.
  • Making recommendations for solutions or improvements that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology.
  • Consulting with vendors.
  • Overseeing implementation, coordinating tests and observing initiation of the system to validate performance and function.
  • Support and Configure Dynamics GP Solutions, including Workplace and Workpaper Manager.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
Skills/Experience: 
  • ~5+ years of Financial or relevant experience.
  • Experience in implementing ERP systems using effective and innovative methodologies and solid project management techniques.
  • Ideally, but not required, some knowledge and experience of MS Dynamics GP 2010 and above, as well as, associated reporting systems:  Microsoft FRx and Management Reporter and other ancillary systems (ADP Workforce Now, Workplace & Workpaper Manager).
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Solid writing skills, and superb spoken communications skills.
  • Broad knowledge of financial systems, concepts and methodologies.
  • Ability to work closely with other departments in many roles: consulting, developing and supporting of enterprise applications.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft’s SQL Server including SSRS & SSIS, Crystal Reports.
