The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation – the world’s leader in the search for a cure for cystic fibrosis, and one of the most innovative and successful organizations of its kind – is seeking an Event Support Specialist for the Metropolitan D. C. Chapter in Bethesda, MD to support the execution of events, event contracts, and auction program. Responsibilities include development of print materials, social media, data-base management, securing volunteers, soliciting in-kind donations, coordinating mailings, ordering supplies and answering phones.
Educational Background:
Two or four-year degree or equivalent education/experience preferred.
Skills/Experience:
- The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of work experience. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and InDesign experience a plus.
- Requires strong administrative skills, ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and stay highly organized to ensure timely and accurate work. Social Media/PR experience a plus.
