We have a tremendous leadership opportunity for a proven, cause-driven leader to join our leadership team as a Member Services Director.

Under the supervision of the Advanced Director of Membership and Childwatch, the Member Services Director is responsible for directing and participating in membership strategies including prospecting and recruitment of new members, training the sales team, and developing, planning and implementing best practices/procedures and methods to achieve strategic goals.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Participating in meeting and exceeding monthly and annual membership sales goals. 
  • Evaluating and implementing the process for handling membership inquiries via phone and email.
  • Managing prospects through leads, tours, walk-ins, phone inquiries, referrals, corporate wellness partners, guest passes, terminations and prospects from campaigns.
  • Achieving prospecting goals.
  • Providing data in weekly and monthly reports including sales, tours, tour/join ratios and prospecting conversions.
  • Participating in branch Annual Campaign fundraising.
  • Attending wellness fairs and community events.
  • Implementing other sourcing methods as developed.
  • Scheduling and supervising Member Services departments including Child Watch, Kid's Zone and Parent's Night Out.
  • Evening and weekend hours required.
  • Performing other duties, as necessary.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred. 
Skills/Experience: 
  • Two years of related experience required. 
  • Sales experience required, preferably in a membership setting. 
  • The role requires excellent customer service skills, ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment. 
  • Must have a proven record of meeting/exceeding sales goals. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
  • The Membership Director position is a full time, exempt, position with an initial schedule that includes evening and weekend hours, Tuesday - Saturday.
Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary: $40,000.00
