The Family YMCA of Bartlesville is seeking a Director of Marketing to join our Team.

This position will contribute to the success of operations of the Richard Kane Family YMCA, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Marketing Director will be responsible for digital marketing for membership, program, and partners, campaign for the YMCA. In addition, he/she will collect and/or write stories of members, program participants, and volunteers to be published internally and externally to raise awareness of the YMCA as a cause-driven organization. Must have strong computer skills with desktop publishing and capable of communicating with all levels of personalities.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • He/she will assist the Executive Director in the oversight of all marketing and communications and will assist with the development and implementation of the branch marketing plan (internal and external), which includes the Association Program promotions to help meet branch sales and revenue goals.
  • Must have documented experience, and work samples using Adobe Design Suite and/or Microsoft Office Design Suite.
  • He/she will implement the branch marketing plan that includes but is not limited to: customizing, updating and auditing branch website information and other social media with branch-specific information and distributing as planned utilizing Association developed templates as needed.
  • He/she will manage the web audit report to execute necessary changes, will post any special information on the web site, and will serve as a contact with local papers for publicity opportunities using Association developed press release shells.
  • The incumbent must have a thorough understanding of best practice marketing strategies.
  • Should possess website management experience, database creation, and excellent writing skills.
  • Should possess skills in managing multiple priorities, communications, and member, staff and volunteer relations.
  • Strong time management skills. Must obtain and maintain any required training for this position.
  • Update the branch web site and/or provide information to the Association web manager for higher level changes.
  • Analyzes job tasks to efficiently perform the job requirements in a timely manner.
  • Has excellent attention to detail completing essential duties in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Establishes and nurtures numerous relationships within the YMCA and Community.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor's degree in social services, business or equivalent preferred.
Skills/Experience: 
  • YMCA Team Leader certification preferred.
  • Three or more years of related experience working as assistant to high-level executives or administrators, preferably in a nonprofit setting.
  • Proficient in all standard business software.
  • Knowledgeable about office processes and procedures.
  • Ability to work with integrity, discretion and a professional approach.
  • Prefer knowledge of, and previous experience with, diverse populations (language, culture, race, physical ability, sexual orientation, etc.).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to speak any language in addition to English may be helpful
Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary: $32,000.00 - $37,000.00
