We are seeking a Manager, Leadership Development who will work in partnership with corps members and their support network to develop them as vision driven and culturally competent leaders both inside and outside of the classroom. You will provide a coaching experience that is personalized and grounded in a trusting relationship.  You will report directly to the Managing Director, Leadership Development and will work closely with fellow team members on the Leadership Development Team. As part of the TFA Baltimore development continuum, you will provide coaching around the most essential components of our leadership development model.  The support will be differentiated by corps members and will provide the key vehicle for growth and development.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Coach and manage the leadership development of 30-35 corps members across 15-25 schools in Baltimore
  • Cultivate strong trusting relationships with each corps members
  • Coordinate support for corps members with other internal and external partners (Content specialists, Site Based Mentors, administration, etc)
  • Hold CMs accountable for meeting programmatic expectations and outcomes in their classroom
  • Participate in regional programing events such as All Corps, Induction, and Strong Start
  • Builds and maintains a corps community within a cohort and larger corps community
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree
Skills/Experience: 
  • 5-7 years professional experience, including at least 3 years of successful classroom leadership
  • Experience coaching adults and designing learning for adult leaders
