The Y in Central Maryland is looking for an Executive Director for their Perry Hall/Parkville location!
As a Y Executive Director for the Parkville and Perry Hall, you will be responsible for daily operations of two Y Family Centers. You will provide leadership in the areas of associate hiring, supervision and development, volunteer management, fiscal management, financial development, membership and program administration, facility and equipment stewardship, community relations and personal-professional development. You will develop, implement and monitor long-range plans for the expansion of programs and services, in harmony with overall Y objectives. You will be responsible for leading and growing Family Center operations of 3400+ household membership units and a combined budget of $2.8 million. As a Y Executive Director, you’ll contribute to the Y and to the broader community we serve by creating experiences that help people feel a greater sense of health and well-being, purpose, acceptance and belonging.

- A love of wellness and people
- The ability to clearly communicate and effectively listen to children, parents/guardians, members, and other Y associates
- Prior experience supervising a 3000+ unit YMCA or related health & wellness center that provide services for all ages
- At least five years of prior experience successfully managing Health & Wellness, recreation, and youth programming field, preferably in a Y or similar organization
- A proven track record in business operations including producing growth and strong financial management
