Grace United Methodist Church seeks a Communications Coordinator to develop a strategy for sharing Grace's mission "to act so that God's love is felt by all" with the wider community. The Coordinator will manage the church's platforms of communication, with an emphasis on enhancing internal and external publicity of the church's ministries.
Regular tasks include managing social media accounts, maintaining the church's website, sending regular e-newsletters, and creating graphics and brochures for church events.
The Coordinator must demonstrate superb written and verbal communication skills, an aptitude with images, creativity, initative, and the ability to work collaboratively with the church staff. An educational background or experience in marketing is highly preferred. Photography skills are a plus.
This is a part-time position, with an average of 10 - 15 hours per week. Salary is commenserate with experience.
