We are seeking a results-oriented person with an eye for details to join our team as Associate of Talent Pipelines & Engagement who will be at the forefront of ensuring that our Baltimore region is positioned to be a thriving network that radically impacts the trajectory for Baltimore students. This staff member is a self-starter who excels at independent work, can seamlessly switch between projects, and enjoys working with people. The ideal candidate will be passionate for the job with the ability to organize information in an accessible way, plan purposefully, and communicate effectively.  

As the Associate of Talent Pipelines & Engagement, you are organized, conscientious, and love details. You sweat the small stuff. In this role, you lead the operations and logistics for the Talent Pipelines & Engagement. 

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Oversee knowledge management (50%)
    • Manage data entry and maintain data accuracy including documenting meetings
    • Conduct data analysis and use tracking systems to determine and monitor effectiveness
    • Monitor team member salesforce management in an effort to ensure updated and accurate records are kept
    • Create and manage a high-functioning database that tracks mission aligned-based opportunities and maintains talent profiles of internal and external talent based on qualifications and interests
    • Support all internal and external meeting preparation for the Managing Director, Talent Pipelines & Community Engagement and other members of the Talent Pipelines & Engagement team
  • Support logistics, event planning, communications, and compliance (35%)
    • Organize and provide logistical leadership for events led by the Talent Pipelines & Community Engagement team
    • Communicate effectively through multiple touch points with various stakeholders
    • Lead corps members through their onboarding experience, including processing certification paperwork
    • Contribute content according to our regional communications plan
    • Manage the Talent Pipelines & Community Engagement budget
  • Support the Regional Team (15%)
    • Participate in regional duties as assigned such as recruitment, selection, and matriculation events, along with other cross-functional duties and initiatives that accelerate our collective progress towards our regional plan and direction
Skills/Experience: 
  • 1-2 years of operations or administrative experience preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce a plus, but not required
  • High level of personal responsibility with exceptional goal orientation and a proven track record of success

Work Demands

  • Ability to work some weekends and evenings
  • Ability to travel independently to multiple meeting sites distances from one another
  • Ability to navigate school facilities that may or may not be ADA-compliant
  • Ability to lift and transport up to 30 pounds for work purposes
