The Associate Director of Member Experience is responsible for managing and improving the digital member and user experience. This position shall lead, direct and support local training and mentoring functions that relate to all online practices and platforms. This position will also provide a support role for all Association information services. A thorough understanding of the mission of the YMCA of Austin is critical to the success of this position. The incumbent will provide best practices training; utilizing Engage to launch initiatives and track in-person member conversations, email marketing and email notifications structure, design and voice, utilizing and updating the mobile app, measuring and assessing the performance of advertising in relation to membership/program sales, updating the website, using the Y voice in digital copy and maintenance and upkeep of our online database, Daxko Operations.

Experience
- Three years experience in Communications or related field.
Certifications
- Bloodborne Pathogens and Child Abuse Prevention trainings provided by the YMCA, must be completed before day one.
- Child Abuse Prevention for Supervisory Staff, Working with Program Volunteers and Reporting Awareness provided by the YMCA.
Technical Skills:
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Knowledge of PC computer operations and application software.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with people at all levels of technical knowledge.
- Skill to train and monitor the performance of application end users.
- Excellent classroom facilitation and mentoring skills.
- Ability to set priorities and manage multiple concurrent tasks.
- Ability to learn technical subjects independently.

Salary: $40,000.00 - $48,000.00
