The Talent Acquisition Assistant provides support at the direction of the Talent Acquisition team through research for outreach and sourcing for diverse applicant pools, support of WO and field based hiring teams and operational support to the Talent Acquisition team. This position will be focused on the implementation of new and innovative outreach and sourcing practices and support to the organization.
The Talent Acquisition Assistant provides administrative support to the Talent Acquisition Team. The Assistant will have frequent interaction with staff throughout the Conservancy. They will use available systems and resources to conduct research and track data. They will also provide other staff with information they will need to make decisions and solve problems.
Primary job duties include:
- Research and provide outreach and sourcing recommendations to hiring teams.
- Monitor and track positions to provide recruiting resources to the hiring teams.
- Monitor various inboxes and respond to inquiries and assist in the background screening process.
- Support Affirmative Action plans through direction of the Talent Acquisition team.
- Special projects and back-up assistance to the Talent Acquisition team, as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND SCOPE
- Provides recommendations on outreach and sourcing to ensure hiring teams are reaching a qualified, diverse applicant pool.
- Tracks and monitors open positions to provide recruiting resources to hiring teams, specifically related to open Goal Jobs.
- Support of various inboxes, responds to moderately complex employee/management questions related to the recruiting process.
- Identify and implement operations efficiencies.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 years HR-related experience, or equivalent combination.
- Experience maintaining files, processing paperwork, data entry or related.
- Experience responding to employee or customer inquiries.
- Experience working with MS Office software and database software .
- Experience conducting research and making strategic recommendations.
- Experience with database management in relation to creating and producing reports.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Multi-lingual skills and multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience appreciated.

- Experience managing various activities to meet deadlines.
- Basic understanding of fundamental HR concepts, processes, and services.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with PeopleSoft.
- Knowledge of social media platforms as used in recruiting; LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.
The salary range for this position is $43,700 – $45,000 depending on experience.
