The Senior Analyst will be a key member of an exciting, fast-paced, and growing team that is making an immediate impact across the entire constituent lifecycle. The Senior Analyst creates, manages, and implements reporting and analytic solutions to advance The Nature Conservancy’s marketing strategies. S/he works closely with other membership and marketing team members to provide data-driven solutions to address business problems and meet key objectives. S/he will keep up-to-date on market trends and best practices. S/he will create processes and implement new practices to improve effectiveness of cross-channel analytics. S/he will be a key member of the project team charged with implementing the new Customer Data Platform and Marketing Automation tools.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND SCOPE
- Implement analytical solutions for Membership department, including:
- Revenue Forecasting
- File Health Analysis
- Predictive models
- Ask-string optimization
- Donor profiling
- Segmentation Analysis
- Test Design and Analysis
- Donor Lifetime Value Analysis
- Development and maintenance of information systems to support CDP and Marketing automation
- Experience, education, and/or training in accounting, finance, and direct marketing programs
- Experience manipulating relational data.
- Experience with SQL and data warehousing tools.
- Experience, education, and/or training in OLTP and dimensional data models
- Excel proficiency including macros and pivot tables
- Experience with statistical software package (SAS, STATA, R, Python, or equivalent) and concepts of predictive analytics.
- Web analytics experience.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong familiarity with Nonprofit data and its use in retaining and acquiring donors, and increasing their engagement
- Experience with PC operating systems and hardware, office productivity/graphics software and desktop utilities.
- Multi-lingual skills and multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience appreciated Master's degree or extensive professional experience.
- Excellent writing, presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Experience developing, implementing, measuring and evaluating multifaceted strategic marketing initiatives, plans and programs.
