The Senior Analyst, Digital Analytics, will play a key role in supporting TNC’s digital transformation, the goal of which is to enhance the Conservancy’s online experience while deepening engagement of supporters and driving revenue.

Areas of Responsibility: 

The Senior Analyst, Digital Analytics, will contribute to and help socialize our understanding of audience engagement with The Nature Conservancy across digital touch points. S/he will support a variety of internal marketing teams through analytics deep dives, uncovering insights, making recommendations, and verifying data integrity to make data understandable and actionable to the business user. This role will also support a testing and optimization practice for nature.org.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND SCOPE 

  • Collaborate with digital analytics resources to review key stakeholder KPIs, analyze results, and provide recommendations where needed
  • Support digital testing and optimization strategies by measuring the success of ongoing experiments and synthesizing the results for business users
  • Participate in the validation of the data layer and analytics tagging to improve our ability to capture more insight on audience engagement
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships across departments to help facilitate success
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree in related field
Skills/Experience: 
  • A minimum 7 years’ related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics
  • Experience with tag management tools, such as Tealium, Google Tag Manager or Adobe Dynamic Tag Manager
  • Experience validating technical implementation of analytics tags using standard tag debugging tools
  • Experience managing client and account relationships
  • Experience implementing, and managing multiple complex projects
  • Experience negotiating agreements

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Multi-lingual skills appreciated
  • Multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience preferred
  • Superior communication and presentation skills, with the ability to stay focused in a fast-moving environment
  • Experience building data visualizations in tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Domo or Google Data Studio
  • Experience identifying opportunities, testing a hypothesis and validating statistical significance of results via A/B/MVT testing
  • Can easily explain insights gained from data in plain language
  • Experience building and deploying tags through Tealium with moderate supervision
  • Experience working with data from other Adobe Marketing Cloud products (Campaign, Target, etc)
  • Experience working with session recording tools such as Clicktale, Decibel Insight or Mouseflow
  • Experience working with data collected on primarily content-driven sites a plus
