The Project Manager will be an integral part of the creative team. He/she provides project management, communications, and coordination support for the Creative Team and will act as the main POC between the creative team and internal/external stakeholders.
The Marketing Division operates at the heart of The Nature Conservancy’s mission to conserve the lands and waters on which all life depends. The Project Manager will manage and execute projects for the Creative Team’s design, photo, and video sub-teams and ensures that projects are delivered on target, on time, on budget, and on brand. He/she will also create and manage the team’s master list of projects and prospective projects, set schedules and timelines, manage deadlines, and coordinate with vendors and staff to ensure the necessary assets and content are gathered and ready. The Project Manager must demonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing project demands, including scope changes. S/he should proactively and collaboratively solve challenges to keep projects on track and identify ways to improve and streamline business processes and implement and publish best practices. Other project management responsibilities include soliciting quotes/estimates, managing project budgets, managing vendor relationships, defining scope, deliverables and roles/responsibilities and offering meeting support including note taking and gathering/consolidating feedback, supporting creative team in preparation for photo/video shoots, coding and processing vendor invoices. The Project Manager will also help with team activity tracking and reporting, and other projects as needed. Communication responsibilities include writing, editing, and managing the Creative Team’s input/updates for internal channels and also managing the team’s web presence on SharePoint. Coordination responsibilities include planning and agenda preparation for team meetings, and development and coordination of various creative tools for fundraisers and marketing staff. This position includes frequent interaction with colleagues across the organization including senior management, finance, advancement services, marketing, philanthropy and legal.

- Manage and serve as the lead Project Manager on assigned projects.

- Accurately scope projects and coordinate assets and critical tasks, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of project activities and/or campaigns
- Manage assigned budget, evaluate results and develop recommendations for corrective strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with the working team and stakeholders on project status, project specifications, and any roadblocks in order to meet project plans.
