Manager, Global Marketing Project Planning

Reporting to the Marketing Operations team, the Manager, Project Planning maintains a day-to-day working partnership with the Global Chief Marketing Officer.  The role manages actionable plans and related follow-up cross the Global Marketing team and Organization on CMO-driven projects and initiatives.  Additionally, the role develops and delivers briefing information, project status, action items and presentations to the office of the Chief Marketing Officer. 

Areas of Responsibility: 

The Marketing Manager, Project Planning, ensures timey communication, planning and proactive follow up across the TNC Marketing Organization on priority CMO led initiatives and special projects. This position works closely with various constituents including executive Marketing leadership, staff, global teams, Organization staff, and other key stakeholders to ensure key initiatives are aligned, coordinated and executed.  The Candidate must be a highly strategic and well-organized team player capable of proactively managing multiple projects & tasks.  He/she will develop and deliver briefing information to the CMO as well as create key communications points and presentations. 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND SCOPE 

  • Create actionable plans, next steps and proactive follow up to support CMO projects and special project needs of the Global Marketing Operations team.
  • Ability to distill complex information, conversation and data points into concise, visually-driven strategies, plans and presentations.
  • Business strategy and strategic marketing planning and project management.
  • Operates independently and acts as proxy for CMO, as needed.
  • Proactive problem solving and a trusted thought-partner for the collective Marketing organization.
  • Highly engaged in cross-departmental marketing, digital and social media initiatives.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Strategy, Communications or related area and a minimum 7 years’ related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills/Experience: 
  • Marketing, digital media and/or communications strategy, planning and project management.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and presenting Marketing strategies and plans.
  • Experience managing client/multi-stakeholder project management including measuring results of plans and programs.
  • Experienced and skilled in developing senior executive level presentations in Keynote and PowerPoint formats

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Multi-lingual skills appreciated.
  • Multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience preferred.
  • Experience leading in a team-based environment with internal and/or external partners.
  • Experience applying marketing & data-driven KPI principles on projects/programs.
  • Engaged and enthusiastic about current and evolving trends related Marketing, creative and digital media.
  • Conceives and writes creatively for various audiences and stakeholders.
  • Strong and persuasive communication and presentation skills with ability to articulate ideas in a compelling manner.
