Manager, Administration & Marketing

Are you a detail-oriented team player with at least 2-4 years’ experience in association management, accounting, and/or marketing? JEDEC, a leading standard development organization, is seeking a Manager of Administration & Marketing to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accounting and bookkeeping tasks, managing the physical office operations, and supporting our public relations, communications, and marketing initiatives.

Areas of Responsibility: 

As the Manager of Administration & Marketing, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Direct responsibility for accounting and bookkeeping tasks for the association, including serving as the primary contact with the association’s external accounting firm, bank and local government.
  • Primary responsibility for building operations and the physical office, including as the main contact for the condominium association, building maintenance issues, and with various vendors
  • Provide assistance with a variety of communications and marketing tasks
Educational Background: 
BA/BS in accounting, communications, marketing or a related field
Skills/Experience: 

Excellent oral and written communication skills along with the ability to work both independently and cooperatively with members and staff are essential. 

Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting.

Good management skills (prioritizing, planning, organization) and the ability to work independently.

Must be a team player and be able to work cooperatively with members and staff.

Ability to use discretion and good judgement in interactions with members.

Proficient in computer software skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Experience with Bill.com, Tallie expense reporting software, and Drupal or other website content management systems a plus.

Excellent references are required. 

Compensation/Benefits: 

Starting salary between $65,000 and $75,000 commensurate with skills and experience. JEDEC offers a very competitive benefits package which includes CareFirst health and MetLife dental coverage with a 95% employer subsidy. We also offer a 401(k) plan with a dollar-for dollar employer match on the first 6% you contribute, as well as an additional 7% employer contribution at the end of each year of service. JEDEC has a generous PTO policy with 20 days available your first year. Employer-paid life insurance at two times your annual salary is included, as well as employer paid short-term disability and long-term disability.
