The Loyal Donor Program Coordinator provides administrative and programmatic support to the Loyal Donor Program operations team within the Gift Planning philanthropy program. The Coordinator will be responsible for data analytics and reporting, field fundraiser support, and communications across the organization.

Areas of Responsibility: 

The Loyal Donor Program Coordinator works with the Loyal Donor Program operations team to support the fundraising work of 20+ Loyal Donor Officers across the country. The Coordinator supports fundraisers’ outreach to and engagement with the loyal donor demographic through various administrative activities, including tracking and entering donor information and interactions into our constituent database, managing the Program calendar, coordinating mail merges, and maintaining files and records. The work requires strong organizational skills, a knowledge of database/spreadsheet work, and an ability to analyze information for the purposes of preparing reports, coordinating efforts, and solving problems. This position will be critical to assuring sound business practices and data management and will interact with our chapter partners, fundraisers, and departmental leadership. The Coordinator will work closely with the Program Analyst to track and report on key data related to fundraising metrics and goals, develop and update procedural documents and other resources, and conduct data entry and quality review. The Coordinator will be responsible for managing internal Connect (SharePoint) web content and provide other staff with information they need to make decisions and solve problems.  The Coordinator will perform additional administrative functions as required and other duties as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND SCOPE 

  • Does not supervise any staff, but may supervise volunteers, interns, or temporary staff.
  • Duties are performed under general supervision and established guidelines.
  • Financial responsibility may include working within a budget, purchasing, processing invoices, contracting with vendors, and assisting with budget tracking.
  • Refers difficult questions and unusual problems to supervisor.
  • Serve as a team member for assigned projects.
  • Work environment involves only infrequent exposure to disagreeable elements and minor physical exertion and/or strain.
  • Work overtime as needed.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree and 1-year experience or equivalent combination.
Skills/Experience: 
  • Experience in business writing, editing, and proofreading.
  • Experience managing diverse activities to meet deadlines.
  • Experience working and communicating with a wide range of people.
  • Experience working with data and spreadsheets.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Multi-lingual skills and multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience appreciated.
  • Ability to analyze information for the purpose of preparing reports, coordinating efforts, and solving problems.
  • Ability to apply research skills.
  • Fundraising database and spreadsheet skills, including managing data and tracking prospects.
  • Ability to write and edit written materials for use with donor solicitations, member communications, and special events.
  • Experience, coursework, or other training in fundraising principles & practices.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
