In this role, the Digital Production Manager will support the production of digital and social media content – including writing articles for nature.org, producing social media content on TNC’s global social channels as well as providing ad hoc social media community engagement. In this role, the Digital Production Manager will execute his/her responsibilities based off a pre-determined digital/social content strategy. The Digital Production Manager works closely with various stakeholders throughout TNC such as department staff, field offices, program consultants and vendors to manage all phases of content production and to improve a holistic cross-platform user experience/journey for our target audience. The Digital Production Manager reports to the Director of Digital Channel Strategy within the Global Digital team. This position is located at The Nature Conservancy’s headquarters in Arlington, Virginia.
- Produces digital and social media content for TNC’s global marketing channels including articles for nature.org, social media content and day-to-day social media engagements.
- Outlines, storyboards and writers compelling digital and social media content for specific audiences with tailor-made calls-to-actions.
- Manages various digital and social media properties and coordinates with internal staff on content updates and maintenance.
- Organizes, manages and coordinates diverse digital projects and activities with many variables.
- Manages TNC’s text-messaging platform to build awareness, encourage engagement and drive fundraising efforts at key moments in time.
- Coordinates with Systems, UX, Analytics and SEO team members to provide strategic recommendations on content production needs.
- Develops communications and presentations for internal digital staff on project and system updates.
- Manages quality assurance testing for website enhancements and other marketing optimizations.
- Does not supervise any staff but will coordinate the work of peers on departmental project teams. May supervise volunteers, interns or temporary staff.
- Works within a budget to complete a project.
