The Digital Producer leads large scale, short-term marketing projects and supports Global Digital’s Senior Project Manager with efforts related to The Nature Conservancy’s digital roadmap. This is a short-term two year position.

Areas of Responsibility: 

The Digital Producer manages and leads small scale, short-term digital marketing projects and supports Global Digital’s Senior Project Manager with efforts related to The Nature Conservancy’s digital roadmap. For these projects, they establish project goals and success factors, develops project plans, budgets and schedules with input and buy-in from key stakeholders and team members, and leads the project teams to successfully achieve those goals in the most cost-effective and time-saving manner possible.  Throughout the project lifecycle, the Digital Producer monitors and measures project progress, conducts corrective action as necessary communicates project status information to all stakeholders, performs risk management, issue resolution and conflict management, and controls project scope and quality.  They ensure coordination between multiple TNC departments, partners, vendors and volunteers. They obtain go/no-go decisions at all project decision points and identify and obtain approval for all project deliverables from the appropriate QA review teams.  They lead the cross-organizational, cross-functional project teams using project management methodologies and processes, and ensure all standards are met. 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND SCOPE 

  • Develop and deliver a project management program encompassing all the details of a project to the team members
  • Set deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal groups and outside consultants, supervise process and maintain integrity of organizational digital marketing and systems standards.
  • Effectively manage project budgets.
  • Participate in negotiations for complex and/or sensitive agreements.
  • Well versed in industry best practices, and an ability to adapt them to TNC’s organization and culture.
  • Maintains confidentiality of frequently sensitive and emotionally charged information.
  • Ability to work under stress during peak workload periods.
  • Willing to travel and work long hours and weekends.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field, and 3 years of progressive experience in an IT environment, including project management experience, or equivalent combination.
Skills/Experience: 
  • Experience using project management techniques and tools including office tools such as the Microsoft Office suite and and JIRA.
  • Experience managing a project team and the planning and managing aspects of medium term projects.
  • Experience in digital website and content production.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Multi-lingual skills and multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience appreciated.
  • Experience in quality assurance methodologies and execution
  • Understanding of content strategy, accessibility concerns, SEO and analytics needs for digital marketing.
  • Experience executing global digital marketing projects and campaigns
  • Experience with multi-lingual content strategies and campaigns
  • Experience working with digital fundraising
  • Project management certification preferred.
  • Effectively communicates via presentations, conservations and documents.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex medium projects in a large, decentralized organization.
  • Strong dedication to the development of customer-centric standards and solutions.
  • Well versed in industry best practices, and an ability to adapt them to TNC’s organization and culture.
  • Critical thinker with demonstrated problem-solving skills. Results driven.
  • Experience working with budgets and/or producing cost/benefit and risk analyses.
