The Digital Producer supports TNC’s digital transformation, to enhance the Conservancy’s online experience while deepening engagement of supporters and driving revenue. This position has the opportunity to help shape the digital future of our organization by being core to all creative projects in support of our global digital properties, in close collaboration with stakeholders across TNC. The Digital Producer develops, creates and implements plans that align with the strategic priorities of the program or division. 

Areas of Responsibility: 

The Digital Producer is responsible for managing workflow, internal processes and overall expectations in support of TNC’s global marketing efforts. He/she will oversee the coordination of global and local marketing campaigns and will lead large projects from start to finish, acting as a primary point of communication with TNC stakeholders. The Digital Producer is expected to create, negotiate, communicate and implement technical quality standards and creative integrity for all campaigns. This is a full-time position within the Global Digital team at TNC, reporting to the Director of Digital Channel Strategy. It is located at The Nature Conservancy’s headquarters in Arlington, Virginia.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND SCOPE 

  • Interfaces with TNC stakeholders to ensure project alignment and overall work quality
  • Creates, manages and oversees key project plans and documentation including scope, schedule, and relevant technical/creative requirements
  • Manages project timelines and monitors team utilization
  • Establishes processes for knowledge sharing across the organization
  • Documents project plans to continually optimize workflow throughout TNC’s marketing team
  • Thinks creatively and critically to identify new opportunities for meaningful impact throughout various marketing team initiatives
  • Reviews all deliverables for quality assurance
  • Manages and serves as team lead on assigned projects.
  • Responsibility and accountability for meeting project goals and objectives.
  • Resolves complex issues independently within program area.
  • Opportunity to act independently within program goals.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree in related field and a minimum 7 years’ related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
Skills/Experience: 
  • Experience managing client and account relationships. 
  • Experience implementing and managing multiple complex projects.
  • Experience negotiating agreements.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of project management principles, processes and relevant software.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and balance the needs of stakeholders.
  • Expert-level knowledge of current digital content management systems and digital asset managers.
  • Results-driven with strong editorial judgment and ability to identify and focus on strategic priorities based on content performance
  • Agile, detail-oriented, independent and well organized with a blend of technical and conceptual skills.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of creative and campaign types simultaneously with diverse geographically dispersed teams.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the lifecycle of web development and marketing initiatives.
  • Multi-lingual skills appreciated, Multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience preferred.
  • Practical knowledge and strong awareness of current and evolving digital user experiences including the latest digital trends.
  • Has a strong understanding of emerging technologies as well as digital and social marketing best practices.
  • Should thrive in an energetic environment and have the ability to make judgment calls and to respond tactfully in all situations.
  • Knowledge of marketing and branding principles.
