The Senior Manager of High Value Pipeline Development develops, provides expert advice/direction, creates and implements plans that align with the strategic priorities of the program and membership department. Directly responsible for projects and managing project budgets.

Areas of Responsibility: 

The Senior Manager, High Value Pipeline Development manages the development, creation and implementation of new and ongoing strategic initiatives to our Middle Donors and High Value current member base to increase retention, maximize revenue over the long term and to increase the pipeline for middle, major and gift planning donors. This includes solicitation and engagement campaigns oriented to renew and retain donors, secure additional gifts, and upgrading giving levels across all channels (mail, digital, phone and mobile, and any alternative media).

Responsible for working closely with a variety of internal departments/stakeholders and outside vendors on production of campaigns, ensuring minimization of expenses, maximization of revenue, implementation of quality control standards, and alignment to strategy. Works within the framework of positioning, platform and voice of the organization’s marketing objectives in the creation and management of campaigns and implements operational delivery of branding principles whether applied internally or outbound.

This position works closely with various constituents including senior staff, field offices, department and division staff, vendors, and other key stakeholders to ensure delivery of projects that contribute to a positive service relationship. Responsible for communicating campaign plans and results to key stakeholders. 

Tracks campaign results, and data analysis. Works with the Director of Retention to make and implement strategic recommendations which respond to program performance, market conditions, organizational priorities and donors’ interests. Coordinates and manages to budgets for the campaigns/program.  Oversees staff and deliverables of the program.

Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree in related field and a minimum 7 years’ related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
Skills/Experience: 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience managing client and account relationships. 
  • Experience implementing, and managing multiple complex projects.
  • Experience negotiating agreements.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Multi-lingual skills appreciated.
  • Multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience preferred.
  • Experience leading in a team-based environment with internal and/or external partners.
  • Experience applying fundraising and philanthropy principles on projects/programs.
  • Experience managing a budget.
  • Practical knowledge of current and evolving trends related to direct response fundraising
  • Practical knowledge of current and evolving trends related to philanthropy fundraising
  • Strong communication skills with ability to articulate ideas in a compelling manner.
  • Ability to work with and communicate with a wide range of people -- vendors, the public, senior level staff, chapter leadership, influential donors, and others.
  • Ability to gain cooperation from individuals over whom there is no direct authority in order to accomplish program or project goals.
  • Detailed knowledge of procedures and terms in fundraising and development
  • Ability to communicate projections and outcomes, distilling analytical information into easily understood messages in a way that allows managers and others to understand and participate in decision making.
  • Ability to analyze available information for the purpose of coordinating efforts, planning, & implementing projects.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain projects and programs in compliance with policies and procedures and external (legal) requirements.
