The Manager of Digital Analytics will be a key voice in our multi-year digital transformation. We are building a culture of continuous optimization, aimed at recognizing opportunities for improving our audience’s experience with The Nature Conservancy across a variety of touch points, and this role will help shape this vision. The Manager of Digital Analytics at The Nature Conservancy will need to bring a strong skillset of creativity and innovation as we re-imagine how we define success.

Areas of Responsibility: 

The Manager of Digital Analytics, with support from the rest of the Digital Analytics team, will contribute to and help socialize the foundation of knowledge around audience engagement with The Nature Conservancy across digital and offline touch points. They will contribute to the construction of and compliance with a governance plan so that all resources are working with a common, stable data set aligned with privacy standards. The Manager of Digital Analytics will facilitate collaboration within The Nature Conservancy by joining multiple data sets, the various people leveraging data, and the strategies for connecting and activating our audience. This role will also support and energize a testing and optimization framework, deployed across multiple touch points.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND SCOPE

  • Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to develop measurement models that are scalable and able to drive engagement strategies
  • Present analysis and recommendations, pulling from a variety of quantitative and qualitative data sets, to key stakeholders
  • Create digital testing and optimization strategies by generating hypotheses and measuring the success of ongoing experiments deployed across multiple touch points
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships across departments to help facilitate success
  • Define and validate technical requirements to improve our ability to capture more insight on audience engagement
  • Manage governance model for tag and data layer validation
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree in related field and a minimum 7 years’ related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Skills/Experience: 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics
  • Experience with tag management tools, such as Tealium, Google Tag Manager or Adobe Dynamic Tag Manager
  • Experience defining requirements for new functions or features with digital analytics tracking and tagging
  • Experience validating technical implementation of analytics tags using standard tag debugging tools

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Multi-lingual skills appreciated
  • Multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience preferred
  • Excellent facilitation, negotiation and consensus building abilities
  • Experience building data visualizations in tools such as Tableau, Domo or Google Data Studio
  • Experience with analyzing qualitative data collected in session recording tools and customer surveys
  • Experience identifying opportunities, testing a hypothesis and validating via A/B/MVT testing
  • Superior communication and presentation skills, project management skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-moving environment
  • Can easily explain insights gained from data in plain language
  • Highly motivated, able to take high-level direction and execute tasks with minimal guidance
  • Experience managing or mentoring less experienced digital analytics resources
  • Agency or consulting experience a plus
