Administer and interpret programs, policies, standards and procedures as established by the YMCA, grant, and Federal Programming Monitoring (FPM) requirements; Monitor annual budget on a monthly basis and report results to Expanded Learning Director; Assure the health and safety of all students by ensuring staff follow health and safety practices and procedures; Assess community needs and the YMCA’s potential role in addressing those needs; Manage a staff of full time program supervisors and provide oversight for their staff comprised of group leaders and volunteers; Monitor database and student attendance tracking systems; Responsible for developing the after school marketing plan for recruiting students that is aligned to the goals and objectives of the operating plan; Assist with planning/implementation of parent meetings and the professional handling of family issues; Represent the Anaheim Family YMCA at school district meetings and other events as agreed upon with the Expanded Learning Director; Assist in development of program funding sources and assist in the grant proposal writing process

Educational Background: 
A bachelor’s degree preferred in liberal arts, business, child development, human services area, or education
Skills/Experience: 
  • 3 years of successful related experience; computer/internet literate- MS Word/Excel; valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record

Hours: Full-time exempt position; hours vary (including evenings and weekends)

Salary: $49,920.00
