The American Heart Association (AHA) has an excellent opportunity for a SharePoint Analyst at our National Center office located in Dallas, TX .
The SharePoint Analyst’s primary role is to provide end-user support, training, and administration of the SharePoint environment. A strong understanding of SharePoint and its capabilities is required to support end-users and develop SharePoint solutions based on the needs of the business.The SharePoint Analyst will work with various levels of customers to support and enhance AHA Enterprise applications. This role maintains and supports the Niche Application environment supporting small applications for Legal, ACS, Planned Giving, and other AHA Business units. They also work with Enterprise application support groups to evaluate business processes and find efficiencies by leveraging delivered system functionality.
- Provides analysis and administration of assigned application(s) on Microsoft Operating System or web-based Software as a Service (SaaS) application(s) across AHA. Assigned application(s) may include SharePoint, Blackbaud, NationBuilder, etc.
- Provides tier 3 service and support through Service Request Management for assigned application(s).
- Oversees security access and administration for users.
- Plans and organizes application implementation projects.
- Troubleshoots and conducts technical analysis to resolve problems with assigned application(s).
- Conducts quality assurance and testing during upgrade releases and ensures the AHA customization remains intact.
- Identifies and resolves issues with new code or releases Identifies and documents assigned application best practices.
- Analyzes data and reports to ensure application data quality.
- Leads Power User Group to ensure business understanding and user alignment with assigned application best practices and standards.
- Provides training to users and lower level application analysts.
- Escalates issues and concerns to next level Application Analyst or application vendor to resolve issues or needs of the organization.
- Three (3) years of experience with business application management and administration.
- Proficient in programming language such as SQL, CSS, HTML or JavaScript programming languages.
- Knowledge and understanding of systems and server administration.
- Effective written and oral communications.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to interact with all levels of Executive staff.
