The overall purpose of this position is to provide leadership and management of the one-year Baby WASH Project for the reduction ofwater-borne diseases in the community and among school children and ensuring alignment with WVI Supporting Approach for Nutrition/Health & WASH and in compliance with donor requirement.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Provide leadership, overall management, project integration and external engagement/advocacy of Baby WASH pilot project in target Area Program
- Demonstrate effective, on-going communications with donors, NGOs and other government departments at national and local levels that will lead to a trusted relationship and to sustaining the project and its impact.
- Ensure quality and timely deliveries of the project activities that are required for the project, in good collaboration with involved Area Program.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field in Rural Health Care, MCH, Project Management, Social Science.
Skills/Experience:
As part of the World Vision International-Cambodia mandate requirements for new staff, all candidates who are offered job are required to produce Local Police Clearance Certificate prior to date of joining in the organisation.
- At least 2-year experience in WASH/Health/Nutirition
- At least 2 years in project management
- Experienced with working with partners especially OD, HCMC, PDRD, PoEYS, WASH NGOs
- Familiarity with the Nutrition guideline, Health policies and program aimed at improving BCC on WASH
- Excellent interpersonal , representational and networking skills and cross cultural sensitivities
